The CARE Center

The CARE Center provides office space for Community Action at our main campus at 5414 Main Dr. in New Hope, AL, each Monday from 9 AM to 3 PM, when funds are available. Clients must schedule an appointment with Community Action and request to meet in New Hope. The CARE Center does not coordinate these appointments. Clients may also apply for rent and utility assistance from Community Action by applying online at: https://littliteal.azurewebsites.net/

The CARE Center provides some utility assistance dependent upon the need and availability of funds. The CARE Center does not provide any assistance with rent, rental deposits, or utility deposits. Assistance is limited to neighbors who reside within our service area of New Hope, Owens Cross Roads, Brownsboro, and Gurley. To request an appointment call (256) 723-2273 M-Th 9 am to 1 pm or email shanai.moore@thecare-center.org. What to bring to the appointment: A current photo ID, proof of residence, proof of income, a list of all household members, and a copy of the bill.
